Over the last few days, Tizen smartphone users have had some Intermittent problems with the WhatsAPP messaging app, but today, they have been hit by a system-wide fault that has made WhatsApp unusable. When Samsung Z1, Z2, Z3, and Z4 users launch the App they are presented with an error message stating 'Your device date is inaccurate! Adjust your clock and try again'. People have tried re-entering the correct the date and time, which in most cases is already correct, but the problem persists.
As you can imagine many users are frustrated with this problem as WhatsApp is a major messaging App that is used in India and is also the most downloaded App from the Tizen Store. There is no official news on What's causing the problem, but we have a little workaround to get you going again.
WhatsApp Fix for your device date is inaccurate
Even though your date and time might be correct, you are still going to experience this problem. A workaround/fix for this problem is to set the date for one day earlier ie 22 June as today is the 23 June. Once you have entered this then the Messaging App should start working. Users have reported that they are unable to download images or videos with this workaround, but they can message at least 🙂
